Best Newcomer
It is important to encourage new entrants to the security industry and highlight the long-term career prospects.
This award honours the new security operative who has shown outstanding promise – to be eligible for this award they must have been working in security no longer than TWO YEARS. Both individuals who have just started out and those who have become security personnel as a career change are eligible.
The achievement must have taken place between 30 November 2018 and 1 December 2019 inclusive. This form must be completed and returned by
1 May 2020, including any additional documents.
Best Newcomer
The Best Newcomer award recognises a new security operative who has shown outstanding promise in their chosen profession. This can be in front line security or in an operations setting, the award is aimed at individuals new to the profession within the last year.
Entries open on open on 4 January 2022 and close on 21 March 2022. Regional winners will be announced on 13 April 2022. Regional winners are automatically entered into the national finals, which take place on 29 June.
