Jane Moore

Journalist and broadcaster

 

Jane Moore has been a journalist for 38 years and is the longest-running opinion columnist for The Sun, and was the paper’s first-ever female editor of its flagship music column, Bizarre. She is a regular on ITV’s Loose Women, and contributes regularly to BBC1’s Question Time, This Week with Andrew Neill, ITV’s The Agenda and Andrew Marr’s Sunday AM.

 

In 2012, she was named Columnist of the Year at the prestigious British Press Awards and awarded the same accolade at the Conde Nast Glamour magazine Awards the following year. Jane is also a patron of the charity Help for Heroes.

 

Jane is the award's headline speaker as well as presenter of the following categories:Security Personnel, Innovative Security Project, Business of the Year, National and International Partnership, Contribution to the Industry, and Apprentice of the Year.

 

 

Assistant Chief Constable Sarah Boycott

West Midlands Police

Assistant Chief Constable Sarah Boycott started as a beat PC within Cheshire Police in 1992. During this time, she has risen through the ranks to become one of the most senior women in UK Policing.

 

She joined West Midlands Police in May 2017 as an Assistant Chief Constable and has the responsibility for the local policing portfolio. She is also the national lead for robbery. Her previous ACC role at Cheshire Police also saw responsibility for the local policing portfolio as well as public contact and uniform operations.

 

In addition, ACC Boycott also worked with the United Nations between 2006 and 2008, overseeing police projects in war-torn parts of Africa. Based in New York, the role saw her manage the international policing response to crises in places like Sudan and Darfur and negotiating police officer contributions from all corners of the globe.

Sarah will be presenting the awards for Bravery for both industry and member of the public.

 

Simon Banks

Managing Director, CSL Group/Chairman, BSIA
 

Simon is Managing Director of CSL Group, a global provider of connectivity solutions. As Chair of the BSIA, Simon aims to provide strategic leadership, working in line with the advancing technology and changing attitudes in security to build the BSIA membership and bring about a deeper talent pool for the industry.

Simon will be presenting the Chairman's Award.
